The game cannot find nearby activity
Confirm that Location Services are enabled for Close Encounters RPG and that the app has permission to use your location while the app is open. Also verify that the device has an active internet connection.
The game will not connect
Check Wi-Fi or cellular data, close and reopen the app, and try again. Temporary server or network interruptions may prevent the game from loading nearby players, creatures, weather, or inventory data.
A purchase did not appear
Keep the app open until the store confirms the purchase. If gold is not added after a successful charge, contact support and include the product purchased, approximate purchase time, platform, and transaction receipt.
I was charged more than once
Contact Apple or Google for billing and refund questions, then contact us with the transaction details so we can investigate whether the game credited the purchase correctly.
The app closes or freezes
Restart the device, install the latest available version of the game, and make sure the device has free storage. Include the screen you were using and what happened immediately before the issue when contacting support.
In-App Purchases
Close Encounters RPG offers optional consumable gold packages. Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Consumable purchases are used in the game and are not restorable after they have been consumed.
Available gold packages may include 250 Gold, 600 Gold, and 1500 Gold.
