Account and gameplay information

Location information

Close Encounters uses device location to show nearby players, encounters, and game activity based on your real-world area.

Location data may be sent to our game server while you are using location-based game features. We use this to calculate nearby encounters and multiplayer availability.

We do not sell your location data. We do not intentionally collect location data when the app is closed or not in use.

Chat and multiplayer messages

If you use in-game chat, trade, fight, or encounter features, the app sends related messages to our server so those features can work.

Purchase information

If you make an in-app purchase, the purchase is processed by Google Play. We may receive purchase confirmation data, such as a purchase token or receipt status, to verify the purchase and add purchased gold or items to your game account.
